Alessandro Gilardi is an eclectic pianist, composer and DJ producer known above all for his electronic music and dance productions (U.S.U.R.A, Jinny, Silvia Coleman. Productions, that entered all the main world sales charts, radio charts and TV shows including “Top of the pops UK”. He also remixed many tracks by several Italian and international artists including Vasco Rossi, 883, Elisa, Matt Bianco, Ultra Natè, George Michael, teaming up with other dj’s. At the same time, he’s written and produced New-Classic music for movies and music for videogames. His songs have been included in various movies and TV commercials for international brands. His influences are various: from progressive rock to Gino Vannelli, from Ennio Morricone to Robert Wyatt from Dave Grusin to Michael Nyman. His watchword is experimenting by contaminating the genres. The idea of Magic From the Piano was born precisely from contamination, rearranging in a new- classic key some of the most beautiful pop, rock and dance tracks, highlighting the beauty of the melodies in a piano version that conveys the emotions that those wonderful melodies give you. He is currently working on his new unpublished works album
